Seeking the Public Assistance Identifying Robbery Suspects

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery at GameStop. On December 22, 2023, the suspects entered the store located in the 1200 block of Northlake Blvd, Lake Park, and inquired about purchasing a PlayStation 5 console. When an employee presented the console, one suspect snatched it from the employee's hands and both suspects immediately fled.

5 Year Anniversary – Homicide in Lake Park

On Wednesday, October 9th, 2019, at about 11:11 a.m., a shooting occurred in the area of Laurel Drive and Flagler Boulevard within the city of Lake Park. Unfortunately, the victim, Jonathan White, was shot and killed and the suspect(s) fled the area in a black SUV.

In July of this year (2024), four experienced law enforcement professionals trained as assessors were selected by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. to conduct an assessment of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Update – Detectives Investigate at Double Homicide on Canal Street, Belle Glade

Shortly before 10:00 pm, last evening, deputies responded to a shooting at 27 Canal Street, Belle Glade. Upon arrival, deputies located two adult males deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate this double shooting/double homicide further. No suspect or motive is known at this time. PBSO, Brightline, Florida East Coast Rail, Trial Rail and Amtrak Participate in Rail Safety Week

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, District 14 – City of Lake Worth Beach, will be collaborating with Brightline, Florida East Coast Rail (FEC), Tri-Rail, and Amtrak to conduct Rail Safety Week operations from Monday, September 23, 2024, to Sunday, September 29, 2024. Unknown Suspects Wanted for Bank Jugging and Distraction Burglary

Unknown Suspects WANTED for Bank Jugging and Distraction Burglary.   These unknown suspects, distracted the victim, stole her credit card(s) then were captured attempting to purchase a Rolex watch for $ 18,000 at the Wellington Green Mall.  Fortunately, a credit card authorization was sent to the victim’s phone to alert her, as she was unaware that her cards were stolen.  This incident occurred on September 24, 2024 at 12:30 pm. 

Suspect Arrested for Homicide of a person known to him

Deputies responded to a stabbing in the 6100 block of Oak Royal Drive, in unincorporated Lake Worth. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male within the residence. The investigation determined that Moslet Elmeus, stabbed the adult male, a person known to him.  Deputies located the suspect nearby. He was arrested and booked into the PBC Jail the charges listed below.

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to Provide Investigation Update on Assassination Attempt

WASHINGTON – Today at 4:00 p.m., the Justice Department, FBI, U.S. Secret Service, and Palm Beach County Sherriff’s Office will hold a press conference to provide an update on the investigation into the apparent assassination attempt of the former president.

Update – Suspect Wanted For Grand Theft of Custom Art

Suspect wanted for Grand Theft. This unknown suspect entered the business located in 700 block of Lake Ave, City of Lake Worth Beach and proceeded to switch the tags on the merchandise which allowed him to purchase $6,500.00 worth of custom artwork for $50.00.
